Chris Brown’s new album will reportedly be delayed because of his stint in rehab.

The 24-year-old singer checked into an undisclosed treatment facility on October 29 to deal with alleged anger management issues.

As he is expected to be in there for three months, his fresh LP titled X may not be released on December 3 as planned.

“More than likely that’s going to be pushed,” a source told Hollywood Life. “If it’s pushed back again, then so be it. His fans are the only ones he’s got to answer to and he knows they understand.”

The insider went on to explain that while Chris is not happy about delaying his music, rehab is a priority. The record is almost completed but the star doesn’t want to release it until it’s perfect.

“Most of the album is done but you know it’s way more than that,” the source added. “He has to be out there, promoting it, putting the finishing touches on it and laying down vocals if need be, but for now, he’s tied down getting his treatment.”

It’s not just Chris’ music that is being affected by his decision to go to rehab – the pop star was scheduled to host a Halloween party in Las Vegas and Los Angeles but decided to put his recovery first.

Chris was booked for a bash at the Conga Room in LA on October 31 and Haze nightclub in Sin City on November 1, reports TMZ.
