Britney Spears and her ex-husband find co-parenting their two sons “great”.

The Toxic singer was married to dancer Kevin Federline for two years from 2004 to 2006, before their divorce was finalised in July 2007. Together they have two boys, Sean, nine, and Jayden, eight and despite their relationship breaking down, sharing parental duties is straightforward.

“Co-parenting is going great, I can't complain,” Kevin told Access Hollywood. “The schedule has been worked out over time. We talk when we need to. It's always about the boys, mostly school stuff and making sure we stay on top of that. It's going great.”

The 36-year-old has four other children, a daughter and son with Shar Jackson, who he was engaged to before his marriage to Britney, and two daughters with new wife Victoria Prince.

Despite being in a new relationship, Kevin has fond memories of his time with the 33-year-old blonde singer.

“It's like a whirlwind. You're thrown into this limelight and everything kind of happened," he recalled. "It was a good time in my life. We have two beautiful children. The way that everything has turned out, everyone is happy."

It hasn’t always been that way however, as Kevin struggled with his weight in the aftermath of their relationship breakdown. But since finding love with Victoria, the DJ feels like himself again.

“I'm in a happy place right now,” he smiled.

Meanwhile Britney is currently loved up with boyfriend Charlie Ebersol and recently hinted that she could be willing to walk down the aisle again.

“You never know," she laughed to Pauly D on Extra, when he asked if she might be taking a trip to a Las Vegas chapel.
