Britney Spears is “loving” Nicki Minaj.
The rapper’s latest release, The Pinkprint, hit shelves on Monday, and apparently its tracks have made it to the Toxic pop star’s favourite playlist.
In a Facebook message posted Thursday, Britney gave a shout out to Nicki, encouraging fans to listen to the new offering.
“Absolutely loving Nicki Minaj #ThePinkPrint! Such a great album,” she gushed, including a link to the record on iTunes.
Nicki’s third album has already proved popular with fans, spawning singles like Pills n Potions and Anaconda, which raised quite a few eyebrows thanks to its raunchy music video.
Britney’s fans appeared eager to offer their support to the rapper as well, with thousands liking and sharing her post within minutes.
The Toxic singer has meanwhile recently extended her residency at The AXIS at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
The star’s contract now takes her through 2017, but she revealed back in September fans shouldn’t expect her to last more than another decade in the music industry.
"I'll give myself another ten years," she replied to German newspaper Bild at the time.
“I want to have more kids in the near future, marry and star in films. I haven't met the right guy yet. But everything happens for a reason, which is a good thing. I have no regrets.”
