Britney Spears’ upcoming wedding will reportedly be the “biggest and most lavish”.
The 30-year-old pop star is preparing to tie the knot with Jason Trawick after she accepted his marriage proposal over a romantic dinner last month.
Britney has been married twice before, but sources close to the star says her nuptials to Jason will be the most exciting for her yet.
“This will be Brit’s biggest and most lavish wedding, but without all the hoards of celebs you’d expect,” a friend of the star told more! magazine.
“I think they both want a classy do with their families and close friends there, and I reckon they’ll want to celebrate over two days. It seems like they both want it to be personal. Jason had her ring made especially for her, and wants the whole wedding to be done in the same way, with ‘Britney and Jason’ touches all over the event.
“The theme will centre around their journey together, and the dress and decor will reflect that.”
Britney married her childhood friend Jason Alexander in Las Vegas in 2004, but their union lasted only 55 hours. She then wed Kevin Federline just nine months later.
Britney and Kevin had two sons together – six-year-old Sean and Jayden, five – before their divorce was finalised in 2007.
Sources say Britney’s marriage to Jason reflects how far she has come since her “party days”.
“Britney and Jason are thinking of doing it this way, not only because of security, but because home is where she loves the most,” the insider revealed. “She and Jason are really close to their families and people in the music business, but generally not many celeb-types will be on the guest list.
“It is going to cost a fortune though.”
