Britney Spears is reportedly considering asking her new man to move in.
The singer only split from her fiancé Jason Trawick in January, but has since started dating law firm employee David Lucado. They are believed to have met through mutual friends, with insiders describing David as a “normal” guy. Britney seems to have fallen hard for the 27-year-old and is even thinking about setting up home with him.
“Britney has only been dating David for three weeks and she’s already saying she wants him to move in with her! She’s lonely and hates being on her own,” a source told British magazine Closer. “She’s been saying that all she wants is to be married and to have another baby. Her mother Lynne has been pleading with her to slow things down. Britney’s already told David that he doesn’t need to work anymore and has offered to upgrade his car. He seems like a nice, normal guy, but she doesn’t know him very well yet.”
It has been claimed that Britney has found it hard to adjust after the end of her romance with Jason. She has been struggling to fill the void left in her life and reportedly dislikes not being in a stable relationship.
“Since splitting from Jason, all she’s been talking about is either winning him back or finding someone to ‘take his place’. Britney’s not very good at being single,” the source added.
Although 31-year-old Britney is smitten with David, her loved ones are encouraging her to take the new romance slowly. They don’t want to see her get hurt and aren’t sure she is ready to commit to another guy so soon after splitting from Jason.
“Britney’s convinced her life is back on track now she has David – but those around her are hoping she listens to her mother and doesn’t rush into anything,” revealed the source.
