On February 1, 2010, Jon Bon Jovi announced that that the band would be taking a two year hiatus once their tour completed in July.

They didn't quite make it two years but, after a good year-and-a-half, Bon Jovi are ready to go back out on the road for what is being called Because We Can - The Tour.

They'll open with a string of Canadian dates starting February 13 in Montreal and following with dates in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg. U.S. dates will be announced in the next couple of weeks.

The band will be premiering songs from their upcoming album What About Now, due in the spring.

The first dates:

02/13 - Montreal - Bell Centre
02/17 - Toronto - Air Canada Centre
02/20 - Ottawa - Scotiabank Place
04/02 - Calgary - Scotiabank Saddledome
04/03 - Edmonton - Rexall Place
04/05 - Winnipeg - MTS Centre
