Blur has officially scored their sixth straight number 1 in the U.K. with The Magic Whip.
Their long run goes back to 1994’s Parklife, which was their third studio release, and also includes The Great Escape (1995), Blur (1997), 13 (1999) and Think Tank (2003).
Blur also tops the Album Sales, Physical Albums, Vinyl Albums, Record Store and Scottish Albums charts while the single, Y’all Doomed is number one on Physical Singles and Vinyl Singles.
The Proclaimers debut at 26 with Let’s Hear It For the Dogs. Dogs is the twins’ tenth studio album and their highest charting since 2007’s Life With You. They made the top ten twice with Sunshine on Leith (1988 / #6) and Hit the Highway (1994 / #8).
