Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert made plans to get heavily intoxicated on his 37th birthday.
The country musician celebrated his new age on Tuesday on the set of his TV show The Voice.
The talent judge revealed that he and wife Miranda wanted to get very drunk.
"We are going to go to the wrap party [for The Voice] and we are going to blow it out," he told People magazine. "That means drinking our face off. No sugar coating that."
The fourth season of the singing competition came to an end and he had even more reason to party.
Danielle Bradbery, who Miranda had also mentored as a guest, won the entire show.
"We are going to get on a plane and go back to Oklahoma and have a couple of weeks off and just chill," he shared. "Miranda gets emotionally attached to these kids, too. We are equally ready to stop thinking about this now."
The musical duo have spent plenty of time apart recently due to their differing schedules.
Miranda has been attending events including awards ceremonies, while he has been working with the likes of Adam Levine, Shakira and Usher on television.
"We are going to go home and hang out together and do husband and wife things," he added. "The things they do in private."
