Justin Bieber’s security guard was reportedly arrested for attacking a man.

The 19-year-old Canadian singer’s hired watchman allegedly got violent with a photographer in Hawaii, according to TMZ.

The website reports the incident took place Wednesday on the island of Kauai, where Justin vacationed.

At the time of the purported altercation, the star was jumping off a famous cliff located on Shipwreck’s Beach when a paparazzo supposedly began snapping photos. According to the outlet, Justin’s guard Dwayne Patterson physically assaulted the photographer after the man refused to delete the images he took. It is alleged Dwayne caused significant damage to the camera during the tussle.

The unidentified victim reportedly wasn’t significantly injured as he is said to have “refused medical attention” when police arrived.

The security officer was arrested for third degree assault and fourth degree criminal property damage and he was supposedly released on a bail bond worth $3,000.

It is unknown whether Justin covered the bail fee for his employee and the star’s representatives have not yet commented on the alleged incident.

Justin has been embroiled in controversy around the world since his Believe concert tour commenced at the close of 2012.

In August the singer was temporarily tangled in a police investigation surrounding his bodyguards’ conduct at South Pointe club in Southhampton, New York.

Most recently he's been accused of visiting a brothel in Brazil and he threw a party so raucous at the weekend that police were called three times.

In a new interview the teenager insists he pays no attention to people's views of his lifestyle.

"Not, ‘I don't give a f**k,' to just be reckless and do whatever, but, ‘I don't give a f**k what [people] say,'" he told The Hollywood Reporter.
