Justin Bieber is encouraging fans to “laugh” at themselves.

The 20-year-old singer has had his share of criticism in recent months, but the pop star doesn’t appear to be letting any of that get to him.

“If u can't laugh at yourself you are not having fun. Don't take things so serious. Smile (sic),” the star tweeted on Thursday.

The Baby hitmaker has had his share of criticism for his alleged hard partying lately.

A purported friend of the family previously told In Touch Weekly Justin’s father has been “enabling” the singer, claiming that when Justin was 18 his father gave him [the prescription painkiller] Percocet.

Justin has brushed off his critics in the past.

“People are going to say what they want about u. It happens. Sometimes u lose your cool. But be kind. Know your heart :) thanks (sic),” he wrote earlier this month.

The message was posted around the same time that the star was accused of infuriating his neighbours in Beverly Hills, California with wild late night parties.

Earlier this week, Justin was reportedly ordered to sit for a second deposition in his assault case in which photographer Jeffrey Binion sued the star, claiming he was attacked by Justin’s bodyguard in Miami last June.

Justin was noticeably agitated during the first sit-down when asked about whether he discussed paparazzi with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, according to TMZ. The singer’s lawyer reportedly objected to the line of questioning.
