Beyoncé Knowles is motivated by President Barack Obama’s “heart and character”.

The superstar songstress and her husband Jay-Z have been longtime supporters of President Obama.

Beyoncé wrote an endearing letter to the chief of state ahead of America’s Election Day on Tuesday.

She is deeply moved by the president’s integrity.

"Everyday we see your heart and character, inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves," Beyoncé penned in the letter that she posted on her website.

"You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be. You are the reason my daughter [Blue Ivy] and nephew [Solange Knowles' son, Juelz] will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be."

Beyoncé’s beau Jay-Z performed at President Obama’s rally in Columbia, Ohio on Monday, the final day of the campaign for the White House.

Jay-Z altered the lyrics of his famous song 99 Problems for the occasion reciting, “I got 99 problems, but Mitt ain’t one.”

The American presidential election will be held on November 6.

President Obama is running against Republican candidate Mitt Romney.
