Bette Midler heading back to Broadway

Bette Midler is set to head back to Broadway for the John Logan play 'I'll Eat You Last: A Chat With Sue Mengers'.

The play is about real-life Hollywood agent Sue Mengers. Mengers represented Psycho star Anthony Perkins, Bonanza's Julie Harris, Candice Bergen, Cher, Joan Collins, Steve McQueen, Barbra Streisand and Ryan O'Neil during her career.

Sue Mengers died of pneumonia at her home in Beverly Hills in October, 2011 at age 79.

Logan wrote the screenplay for the latest James Bond movie 'Skyfall'.

It has been 30 years since Midler last starred on Broadway although she was the producer of the Broadway production of 'Priscilla: Queen of the Desert'.
