B.B. King

Earlier today TMZ reported that King had been examined and treated at the hospital for what sounds like another case of dehydration. He had been hospitalized earlier this month for that reason as a result of his battle with diabetes and, according to the TMZ article, his daughter Patty said that “his urine was orange and he wasn’t eating” which points to the same situation. She also says that the blues great suffered has suffered a minor heart attack.

Patty King, who lives with her father, reportedly called police on Thursday to charge King’s manager, Laverne Toney, with elder abuse. Patty has wanted to take B.B. to the hospital for treatment before the situation became acute but says that Toney, who has power of attorney, refused.

This isn’t the first time that Patty has made the charges. She and her boyfriend called authorities in November over a similar situation but the authorities refused to file charges, which they once again did on Thursday.
