Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger have called time on their marriage, it has been claimed.
The couple are apparently set to announce their plans to divorce any day now, according to a new report.
Avril and Chad were married for 14 months after tying the knot in the South of France in July 2013.
“It’s over. He has been going around LA and telling people that they’re divorcing,” a source told Life & Style magazine.
The claims follow images of Avril out partying with friends last month, minus her wedding ring.
She has also taken to her social networking sites and deleted an image of the pair cuddling up together on their one-year wedding anniversary in July.
At the time, Nickelback frontman Chad presented Avril with a gift of a 14-carat pear-shaped diamond ring.
"I still can't believe my 1 year anniversary gift,” the Complicated hitmaker captioned a photo of her and her husband on her Twitter account. “"17 carat emerald cut. Wow. I love my hubby.”
The couple met while working on Avril’s fifth album in 2012 and was quick to fall in love. Chad proposed a month and six days after they began dating.
“It was like we'd known each other forever," the Girlfriend singer told People magazine last year. "It's a very intimate process, and you have to really open up when you're songwriting. When it was over and I had to go work with other people, it sucked.
“So I called him and asked him to come back to LA to do some more writing with me, and he was like, 'Hell yeah!'"
