Following his daughter's death on July 24 dad Mitch Winehouse announced that he would be setting up the Amy Winehouse Foundation to help young people struggling with addiction.

He met up with Government officials last week to discuss plans to set up a drug rehabilitation centre - joined by Amy's management team and teen rehab campaigners.

But in a post on Twitter over the weekend he revealed that the plans have hit a serious obstacle - someone has has already registered the name of the foundation.

"Instead of concentrating on allocating funding I am having to send cheques back cos we don't haven't got bank ac in that name," he tweeted.

According to the Guardian the online domain names such as amywinehousefoundation.com and amywinehousefoundation.org.uk have been taken by people unaffiliated with the charity following the singer's death.

Mitch has confirmed he is taking legal action but for the time being the foundation has been put on hold.
