American Idol will retain its superstar judging panel.

The popular TV singing competition is going into its 14th season and judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban will remain part of the show.

Host Ryan Seacrest has also agreed to return next year and executives are elated the talent decided to stay.

“Jennifer, Keith, Harry, and Ryan are the very best in the business at what they do, and I’m thrilled that they are returning to American Idol for another season. Each brings unique qualities and expertise to the team, but they all share the same passion for helping undiscovered singers achieve the American dream,” David Hill, senior executive VP of 21st Century Fox said in a statement to Just Jared.

Country singer Keith admits he doesn’t have a clear plan or judging strategy this time around.

He simply wants to maintain the strong camaraderie he’s developed with his co-panellists.

“I’m looking forward to it a lot. I hope all of us stay in tact for next season because I really had a great time and I feel like we’ve got a good groove going, so I hope we get to keep it going,” he told Hollywood Life.

Harry is also equally elated about reuniting with Jennifer and Keith next season.

He thinks finding new singing talent one of the most thrilling activities ever.

“I can’t wait!” Harry gushed. “That is the most exciting thing, we were talking about that last night. To imagine the next American Idol winner is walking around somewhere, that is so exciting. I can’t wait — I am so fired up.”

American Idol season 14 will premiere on Fox in January 2015.
