Alyssa Milano says April Fools’ Day is “lame”.
The 42-year-old actress took to Twitter to vent about the traditional occasion, which sees people make jokes and pull pranks.
Alyssa wrote on the social networking site that she isn’t a fan of the April 1st shenanigans.
“April Fools’ Day is lame”, Alyssa tweeted.
But it seems Alyssa might be in the minority when it comes to her feelings about the day.
Other celebrities were quick to use the occasion to trick their fans, including Sam Smith.
The Lay Me Down singer joked on Twitter: “Guys I have some news... I'm straight.”
However, the message had mixed reactions from his followers.
While some found it hilarious, other suggested it was inappropriate.
Meanwhile, Katy Perry stunned fans when she unveiled what appeared to be a drastic new haircut.
The singer posted a shot on Instagram of her new look, which seemed to be a cropped ‘do.
She captioned the shot: “I asked for the Kris Jenner.”
Someone who believed Katy had actually gone for the chop was Kris herself, who replied: “LOL I love you! You look gorgeous beautiful girl!!! #stunning #sexy #eyesareamazing.”
Jennifer Lawrence entertained her fans with a video clip put together by Funny or Die, which showed her answering a banana instead of a phone.
And Britney Spears also posted some footage online, which showed a loop of her walking into a sliding glass door.
Ashton Kutcher pretended that visitors to his website aplus.com were getting a personal call on their phones from him.
Those that fell for the prank were treated to an April Fools’ message from the actor himself.
