Billboard exclusively reports that Alicia Keys will take the stage with rock legend David Byrne at Keep a Child Alive's 11th Annual Black Ball event, a yearly gala offering first-time musical collaborations.

This year’s Black Ball will take place on Oct. 30 at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

“I’ve always been inspired by David Byrne and his ability to combine music and art, so getting the opportunity to perform with him at this year’s Black Ball is such an honor,” says Keys, who released the new single "We Are Here" last month, in a press statement.

Keys is the co-founder and event host for Keep a Child Alive, which has provided HIV treatment to children orphaned due to AIDS since 2003. The R&B singer-songwriter has shared the stage with Jay Z, Bono, Adele, David Bowie and many others at previous Black Ball events.

Byrne says, "When [Leigh Blake, co-founder of Keep a Child Alive] approached me about participating in this year’s Black Ball, Keep a Child Alive's annual fundraiser hosted by Alicia Keys, I immediately said yes. I'm flattered and excited ."
