Adam Lambert is boyband fan

Adam Lambert would love to be in *NSYNC.

The American singer was quizzed on his views about British boybands One Direction and The Wanted. He couldn't answer which group he admires the most, explaining his is still a fan of bands from the '90s.

'Hmmm. I'd be in *NSYNC,' he laughed.

The American group comprised of Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick.

Adam released his second record Trespassing earlier this year. He is proud of the album and thinks it will appeal to many different types of people if they give it a go.

'I really believe in its message and its grooves. I truly believe there's something for everyone on this album,' he told Just Pop! magazine.

'There's a bunch of different types of dance jams. Kickin' In and Trespassing are throwback classic rock and infectious. Never Close Our Eyes and Naked Love are pure feel-good pop.'
