Aaron Carter wants to take Rita Ora out for pizza.
The 26-year-old singer rose to fame in the late ‘90s with his debut single Crush on You and is also known for being the younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick.
He became a heartthrob during his teen years, and Brit beauty Rita previously revealed he was her first celebrity crush.
Flattered by the comment, Aaron has shared his desire to woo her over a meal.
“Oh, you better believe that when I see Rita Ora, I’m going to give her my number and we’re going to go on a date,” he gushed to PopCrush. “Unless she’s got a man at this point, but if she don’t got a man, I’m definitely going to take Rita Ora out on a date. We’ll go out for pizza.”
Aaron has had a turbulent life since entering the limelight, previously spending time in rehab for a Xanax addiction and dealing with bankruptcy.
He’s now back on track and is set to release a new album, 12 years after his last record Another Earthquake. Aaron hopes the public will form a new opinion of him after listening to his new tracks.
“I just want people to see the real deal and to see that I’m a person that is in an industry that I’m a part of. I’m not just doing this, this has been a lifestyle for me, ever since I was six years old,” he explained. “People like Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus, I have respect for them, but the difference is I’ve been doing this since I was literally six years old. My earliest, fondest memories all stems back to performing, being a musician, being interviewed. That’s what my life has been.”
