Global superstars One Direction return with the stunningly emotive ballad ‘You & I’, the new single from their record breaking third studio album ‘Midnight Memories.’
‘You & I’ is a mature, haunting anthem written by Julian Bunetta, Jamie Scott and John Ryan, who previously teamed up with the band for the smash hit single ‘Story Of My Life.’
The video for ‘You & I’ will go live on April 18th and once again sees the band collaborate with Ben Winston (‘Best Song Ever’, ‘Story Of My Life’ and the movie ‘This Is Us’).
‘You & I’ will be released as a single bundle download containing previously unheard alternate versions of the song, as well as Liam’s first ever remix – dubbed the ‘Big Payno’ remix!
In the weeks leading up to the single’s official release date, fans will be able to follow Liam’s lead and will be given the chance to make their very own You & I remix. An exclusive clip of Liam’s remix will be on the band’s Soundcloud from Friday, along with the vocal stems for fans to download and create their own remix from, before uploading to the ‘You & I – The Remixes’ group. Liam will then publicly playlist his favourite mixes each week.

Next month sees the long-awaited start of One Direction’s huge worldwide stadium tour, taking in the UK and Europe, South America and the USA and Canada – the UK and Ireland legs kick off at Dublin’s Croke Park on 23rd May.
