SAM GRAY: TOO MUCH OF A GOOD THING
OUT 4 FEBRUARY
Following his slot as special guest on the nation-wide Peter Andre tour, Sam Gray returns with a new album Too Much of a Good Thing. Out on the 4 February through Transmission Recordings, it is set to catapult Sam into new-found levels of success. Boasting a variety of styles over its 10 tracks, this album is a fantastic addition to any collection.
Too Much of a Good Thing includes 'This Girl' released as a single back in August that went on to clock up close to 300,000 YouTube views. There's also soulful future classics in 'Hand Me A Ticket' and 'Bright Side Of My Heart' and the reggae-infused 'Invincible'. Other tracks include the ska-tinged 'Hard City' and forthcoming double A side single 'One Night Stand', backed with 'Got To Go Home'. The video for 'One Night Stand' has just gone live and you can watch it here.
Born and raised in Hull, Sam grew up playing in bands on Humberside before slowly gravitating across the M62 to Manchester, which remains his base to this day. Whilst in Manchester he was discovered by legendary drummer Steve White (Paul Weller) who became his manager, producer and general overseer. White, along with his partner Sally Lindsay oversaw Sam's early demos until they secured Sam a publishing deal with Notting Hill Music and a recording contract with the Transmission Recordings label.
