Diamond Freaks

Diamond Freaks is a five-member rock band. That puts their hart and soul into their music. Though they are a younger band they have never let that stop them from reaching their goal for the band. They are band that cares about their fans and what kind of band they are. So they maybe a young band but they are here to stay and bring their music to life. So let them rock on!!

Would you tell us how you got started in the music world?

Emery:
One moment. Only one moment in my life, many years ago, when I found myself. I just knew. That's the right way.

Brand:
One day, without thinking, I just decided to buy a guitar. It was a first time when I spent all my money. I was young, about 13 years old. From that moment music changed my life as never before.

Pete:
I love rock music since I was a child. One day I saw my most favorite guitarist on live DVD and I decided, I wanna play guitar and be a rock star.

Matt:
I think that I was fourteen when I said to my dad that I wanna play bass? I'm originally bassist haha.

Have you ever been in a music competition?

Emery:
Actually, not. My way always led to Diamond Freaks.

Matt:
Yes, I have some experience

How do you handle mistakes during a performance?

Emery:
It depends on the situation. Honestly, I've never thought about it, so I don't have any guaranteed recipe how to handle these mistakes. The best thing would be, not to make 'em. haha

Brand:
More and more drinks and then everything goes well. haha

Pete:
I learn from my mistakes for the future

Matt:
Improvisation

Have you ever thought, "This is what life was made for?"

Emery:
Yeah. Every single day. You know, I'm not able to do anything but music. Composing, playing guitar, writing lyrics, playing with the band. That's my life. Sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. And moreover I'm terribly bad in anything else, haha, but I'd never change it 'cuz I love it. I was born to rock!

Brand:
I think about it quite often. I convinced that music was and always will be the best step what I did in my life.

Pete:
Absolutely yes. Music is the only thing what I can do. Normal life isn't for me.

Matt:
Yes. Every time I was spending my time in a practice room even though I had to be in school or somewhere else. The other guys from a band know what I'm talking about. They were there with me. haha

Do you ever get lost in the music?

Emery:
Take a look at my previous answer. I'm lost in music every fuckin' day, haha

Brand:
If you mean improvisation, I have to say, that I’m lost really often. Improvisation is one of the best things in the music.

Pete:
I'm lost in music everyday

If you could pick anyone who would you like to do a duet with?

Emery:
It's pretty hard to say, but most likely Sebastian Bach (ex Skid Row)

Brand:
Quite a hard question. Certainly with many famous musicians, but mainly with someone, who has a similar view on the music philosophy, because everybody sees in music something different? When musicians with similar thinking start playing together, it always makes a really awesome atmosphere between them and fans.

Pete:
One day I'd love to play at the same stage with Zakk Wylde. He is my guitar idol and his guitar playing changed my view on music.

Matt:
Tommy Lee

If you had to listen to one artist for the rest of your life who would it be?

Emery:
There's a lot of great bands that I love and I can't imagine my life without 'em but Motley Crue. That would be my choice if I should pick up only one band.

Brand:
Guns'n'Roses, because I listen this band all my life.

Pete:
Ozzy Osbourne

Matt:
Motley Crue

What are your goal and dreams for your music career?

Emery:
I just wanna do what I love and what I live for, but at the other side I got big goals and dreams. I wanna kick the world's ass with our music and with this family of Freaks. Be a part of the music history. I wanna live at full blast and for our fans because it's all just about the music and about them.

Brand:
Compose the music and spend my time with Peter, Emery, Matt and TJ. That's my dream and my goal is just to be happy of what I do. Life is just about being a happy.

Pete:
I want to be famous with my band, but not because of money or something like that. Fuck all the money in the world. Music is about feelings and you must make it with love and if you're good in it, people will love you and you can change their lives. That is my dream.

Matt:
My dream is just to play rock'n'roll and I hope that I will do it all my life

Band Bio:
We are five-member rock band Diamond Freaks and we are much more than just few people playing on their instruments, more than just friends. We are the rock'n'roll family. Five different personalities, many fateful meetings, one big dream and the same life style. We want to show to our fans, that they are a part of it all and that it's time to have some fun and rock the world. We are sick of the music scene and our intention is rock'n'roll revolution. But don't get it wrong. We don't want everyone to be a rocker. We want rockers to kick the world's ass! So what are we waiting for!?
I think that our music is very specific, energetic and it's just rock'n'roll right from our hearts. It's hard to talk about our inspiration because every member of Diamond Freaks works on our music. There's plenty of ideas and inspiration from each of us. We just want to be original band like no band before.....We are Diamond Freaks!
