Dan Croll releases his highly anticipated debut album ‘Sweet Disarray’ through Deram Records/Universal Music on the 10th March 2014.

The past year has seen the Paul McCartney endorsed Dan Croll rise from a blog favourite to a firm favourite on One’s to Watch for 2014 lists across the board.

2013 saw Dan Croll sell out a string of headline shows on both sides of the Atlantic, bag coveted support slots with the likes of Haim, Bombay Bicycle Club, Bastille and Chvrches and win over festival crowds throughout the summer. He became a regular on the radio, (picking up playlists from Radio 1, XFM and 6 Music), racked up over 4 million online streams and was featured on blogs and websites so extensively that he topped the Hype Machine charts several times.

All in addition to his music finding its way onto The Grand Theft Auto 5 and FIFA 2014 soundtracks and featuring on a Toshiba animated advert. This year Dan will embark upon his first headline UK tour, as well as supporting London Grammar on various dates throughout the UK.

Drawing on a broad range of influences - from the world music of Paul Simon and the experimental orchestral work of African choirs through to 1960’s psychedelia – and mining from the same rich seam as acts such as The Mars Volta, Beirut and Bon Iver, Dan Croll’s eclectic sound has been compared to that of the likes of Vampire Weekend, Alt-J and Beck, to name a few.

Recorded in an abandoned school gym and produced by himself and friends, Dan Croll’s forthcoming album ‘Sweet Disarray’ is not only a collection of expertly crafted songs, but is also set to be hailed as one of 2014’s great debuts.

From the synth pop masterpiece ‘From Nowhere’, beautifully melodic ‘Home’, and infectiously moving ‘Sweet Disarray’ to the irresistibly forlorn ‘Can You Hear Me’ and the pan–cultural ‘Compliment Your Soul’, the album showcases Dan Croll’s innate ability to write enchanting songs with an intelligent alt-pop sensibility at every turn.

Having recently inked a global deal with Universal Music, who are releasing him through Capitol Records in the US and Deram Records in the UK, Dan Croll’s music is already dominating the internet, airwaves and venues around the world firmly ensconcing him as one of our most promising young artists for the year ahead.
