Sunday Morning Calling is the latest single from punk pop band Model Society. Hailing from London Town these four lads are going places. As a result of their captivating live shows, they have attracted attention from the likes of BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq, Chris Hawkins and the legendary record producer Steve Levine who produced this single

Their latest offering jumps out at you from the off, the opening riff sounding like Buzzcocks/Magazine at their best. There is a great shouty chorus to get the Indy boys singing along and great spiky guitars to please the older crowd who once jumped up and down at the Roxy. Just as you think you know where this song is going it slows down and we are treated to a wonderful instrumental break. It’s just long enough for you to catch your breath when it is back to the chorus and then like all good punk songs, it ends.

These guys are great fun live and their recorded output is just as exciting, if you like this single check out the rest of their material and go and see them live.
