Generally when the word Beltane is in a song, it’s time to run for the hills. Stonehenge, druids and twits prancing around maypoles generally come to mind. Thankfully this isn’t bad.

The song does have a very traditional folk base to it with an acoustic guitar, a fiddles and lots of beery (Or should that be cidery?) shouting in the background: it’s a song that will probably work very well live. It’s all a bit silly really – listen to the lyrics – though the band do sound as if they are taking it very seriously.
