Pea bird Fergie releases the third single from her mass unit shifting solo album, The Dutchess. And you know what, it ain't that bad. Taking a distance from the childish Humps song, Big Girls Don't Cry is Fergies showcase as a serious artist, upping the maturity stakes.

Produced by Black Eyed Peas team mate Will.I.Am, the gentle acoustic guitar, heart ripping sentiment and infectious chorus, make for a surprisingly decent four minutes. The promo video is her stage for a multitude of costume changes in all manner of semi sexy threads - not too sure about the slippers when she's hanging up the washing though, but that's probably deliberate.

Back to the tune, however. Young(ish) Stacey Ann Ferguson appears intent on a very succesful recording career, and this catchy ballad will certainly help the cause.
