The sheer energy and vivacity of this EP is wonderful.

Nine Below Zero’s lead man Dennis Greaves and founder member of the band Mick Lister have gotten together to make an EP that seems to combine the best of 80’s pop/soul with the quality of 21st century production and engineering.
It’s their first release as The Truth in 30 years and you get two new songs – the title track and ‘Life Through A Glass’ – and updated versions of their hits from before ‘Confusion (Hits Us Everytime)’ and ‘A Step In The Right Direction’.

Overall, it is just really good fun.
A perfect summer blend of pop and soul hooks with Mod rhythms and energy.

For those of us old enough to remember them 1st time around, it is a reminder of just how good a band they were and if you are hearing them for the 1st time it is a brilliant antidote to the over-produced computer generated R & B that has destroyed the music industry.
