Wily Bo Walker & E D Brayshaw

This single tears out of the speakers with awesome power and an almost malevolent edginess. Brayshaw’s guitar is harsh and screams like a banshee unleashed. Then Walker’s deep and nuanced vocal comes in and the whole thing takes on the feeling of impending doom on a back road in rural America.

The single is taken from Walker’s upcoming new album ‘The Roads We Ride’ which, is Walkers own words “The Roads We Ride’ is a film noir script. A storyboard. A concept album. Cinematic theatre. A cheap novel in a dime store. A story of three people and the paths they take. ‘Night of the Hunter’ is one of their tales”

The pace of the song, the sheer unrelenting attack is awesome in the literal sense of the word.

If this is indicative of the album, then I can’t wait for the tales to unfold.
