Charlotte Gainsbourg is leading the way with her own musical style, combining 80s Synth-Pop with elements of Electronica and traces of Indie-rock, to form an original niche sound. Having already receiving wild acclamation from media giants such as Pitchfork, The Line Of Best Fit, The Guardian and The Independent to name but a few and with a sold out show at the Village Underground in London under her belt, Charlotte has been progressively making waves in music scene for some time now and is definitely no stranger to success.

Her latest EP: “TAKE 2” consists of 3 new songs 2 live tracks, with works written by herself and SebastiAn (producer of Frank Ocean and Kavinsky), featuring possibly some of the richest works of her career.

The EP grabs listeners’ attention from the beginning with “What A Remarkable Day”, led by a buoyant tempo with staccato instrumental stabs throughout the song’s verses - now coupled with the explosive visuals of the lead singe’s official music video. It’s energetic bounce is continued and expanded upon in the 2nd track “Bombs Away” which sees bluesy piano and similar synth-pop elements blended with the songstress’s familiar sultry vocals. The third original track is none other than an expansive masterpiece, blending traditional orchestration with electronic sounds in a sumptuous exclamation of cinematic grandeur.

Both complex and evolving, there is no chance of becoming bored during this EP.
