Unbelievably nearly a year has passed since Sarah Darling revealed Dream Country, which is effortlessly one of the highlight albums of 2017. Having since spent time touring the UK and popping up at a whole host of festivals, she rounds off a rather wonderful year with Winter Wonderland. As the title suggests this is a warm, fuzzy feeling Christmas themed record that transports you that magical realm where all is right with the world.

The innocence in her delivery is timeless, while the cheery production will melt even the hardest hearted Scrooge. Given that the collection, which is sadly only 8 songs strong, features seasonal sing-alongs this is an album that will have you joining in without even thinking about it.
From the playful Santa Baby, which is delivered with a girl next door charm rather than sultry sexiness, to a magical rendition of Silent Night and a truly stunning reworking of River, this is a collection that both tugs the heart strings and brings the Christmas fever.
