Last year, Italian singer Giulia supported Anastasia at London's O2 Arena and her single Turn You Light On was used as the anthem for World Earth Day. Given these chances to raise her profile in the UK and across Europe, Giulia seems set to cash in. Road Trip begins with one of pop's forgotten instruments, the harmonica, which is great to hear on a cracking slice of pop rock.

Using the catchy chorus and frantic rhythm, the Italian uses the road trip metaphor to reflect on life's twists and turns. It is written by Giulia (or Giulia Donà dalle Rose to give her her full name) and Don Mescall and displays her cracking darker toned vocal.

Road Trip is taken from the new deluxe version of Giulia’s debut album, Raze Me To The Ground, which will be released on May 20th. That will also include two new tracks; X-Rated and Addictable. The latter will also be released as a single on 25 March.
