Two Ways Home are made up of Lewis Fowler and Isabella Mariee, hailing from Gloucestershire and Vienna respectively. The opening track “Just for Now” which catches the ear from the off, is their debut single, with “Better Days” following suit shortly after.
The 4 track EP puts one in a bubbly mood with the duet singing in tandem showing real emotion in an industry that has been somewhat lacking recently. The second track “Still in Love” changes direction with a slower melody and more of Kyla La Grange sound. However the acoustic guitar is still as powerful, of course not as powerful as the voice of Mariee which would certainly not be wasted in an intimate venue.
The 3rd song “Home Again” offers a similar pace to the first track, whilst the slowest track and I believe the most powerful from an emotion standpoint Better Days reverts back to the more subdued pace of the 2nd track. Home Again is a classic love song a the perfect way to end a very promising duo’s debut EP.
