Temporary Hero

Xmas singles generally live in the memory about as long as the 2 minutes they last but this actually has some strangeness and no little charm.

Starting with a crack-beat (very much like Cameo) and then suddenly you are into a bubble-pop rock ‘n’ roll Xmas song except if you listen to the lyrics this isn’t your bog standard welcome to Jack Frost – no humour but a nice twist.
Couple that with a slightly adult view on Santa and his gifts and this definitely isn’t quickly forgettable.

The other three tracks have their own charms – beats and samples under a slightly off-key vocal that somehow works very well in a slightly robotic manner.

Temporary Hero is an established artist and musician and this is a clear departure from his ‘usual’ material but if you want to wake granny on Xmas day this might be the trick.
