On Friday October 23 Theodore played his homecoming show in Athens to celebrate the release of his second album “It Is But It’s Not”.
In an evening full of atmospheric sounds and electronic explosions the Fuzz Live Music Club was transformed by Theodore’s new sights and sounds.
"It Is But It’s Not” is an amalgam of psychedelic rock and ambient pop sounds, distorted outbursts and electronic experimentation. It is mixed by Ken Thomas (Sigur Ros, Yann Tiersen, Daughter, M83) and mastered by Ted Jensen in New York. Lyrics and instrumentations have been written by Theodore and are based on his classicist and romantic leanings.
Theodore is a Greek vocalist, composer, multi instrumentalist and film scorer. His music is characterized by the balancing of stark contrasts between classic and electronic sounds.
A brief three-year career has already see him release 2 musical albums
, 6 compositions for film, theatre and dance, play all over Europe including festivals in Poland, France, Italy, Greece and UK.
He has played live sessions at Abbey Road and Church Studios, is t
he only artist after Vangelis, that has per-formed at the Temple of Zeus, Athens and is the youngest artist to headline the Athens Concert Hall.
