To give bartenders some love, Sailor Jerry's wanted to take a bold step and make Bartender Appreciation Day (B.A.D.), an official holiday in the UK as a way to say thanks for all their hard work and unwavering patience.

Sailor Jerry spoke to 1,000 drinkers and bartenders across the UK and only a measly 1% admitted to tipping!

Sailor Jerry is encouraging British drinkers to show solidarity by backing this initiative and signing the petition as well as voting for their favourite bartender in a search for the Nation’s Favourite Bartender at:

Yesterday evening, Sailor Jerry kicked off the launch of the campaign by throwing a damn awesome party with Psychedelic rock band Fat White Family headling the Sailor Jerry Presents gig.

With Sailor Jerry's rum flowing and great music in our ears, we had a thoroughly enjoyable night!
