Favourite Style of Music: Varies from classical stuff to modern. Usually guitar based but not only. I also like disco funk, 80’s synth sounds and beats.

Artists who inspire you: Everyone. You can be at any place and get inspiration, all you need is to walk in a place and listen to something on the wrong beat and you’ve got a beat or a start of something cool.

What would be a perfect day for you? Waking up late in the morning with a solid strong cup of coffee and English breakfast. The rest can be anything music related and productive, or an easy drive in my classic. Almost everything goes as long as I am not in a hurry or hassled in any way.

What would your friends say they appreciate the most about you? I guess I can’t really answer that, you’d have to ask them

What is your most valued material possession? I guess that would be a few old amps and a classic car.

What do you like most/least about the music industry? Sorry I can’t say I am into industry, I am more into music because it is who I am.

I don’t really know how it works and I guess it is not my job to know the tiny details. Industry is driven by money and gain, what I do is something different. It doesn’t really lose money but my music supports itself. I am happy that way. In general today it is all a bit fake and processed and nothing is what it seems. Some are really talented while others are more popular. It is life and it will always be like that I imagine.

What skills/personal attributes are most important to being successful in music? Ambition, drive and determination. These apply in any field and talent of course is important as well as a good personality and presentation. Personally I really appreciate artists who are down to earth no matter how big they have made it – Adele and Dave Grohl come to mind.

Who were you, or would you be nervous to meet? I met a few artists and being nervous comes as standard. I’d like to meet David Gilmour to be honest but I’m not working hard at it yet.

Is there something you would like to do more of in the future? Being able to do more my stuff - music, recording, guitar building, travelling and learning. Most of all I’d like to have a clear mind for it the most.

Where would you like to find yourself in ten years? I don’t have a place but rather a state. I’d say working happily and in a comfy way with all business taken care of. But to quote a famous song maybe ‘Any way the wind blows’.

What personal advice would you give to someone wanting to pursue a career in music? Be yourself and never stop, be real and keep going.
