How important is music to you/why: I breathe music. I wake up in the morning singing and put myself to sleep singing, so it is vital to me. Music just puts me on another dimension.
How much time do you dedicate to vocal training and rehearsals? : When i have an important event i tend to train and rehearse twice everyday. I like feeling and being prepared.
From the currentMalta Eurovision 2016 finalists, who would you choose to duet with/why: I’d choose Franklin Calleja for the simple reason that i’m a huge fan of his voice and character. He’s a person i love spending time with.
A typical weekday for you from morning to night: Work in the morning and then i like spending quality time with both my boyfriend and family. Occasionally, i try making time to socialise a bit with my friends.
How do you like to spend your weekends: Relaxing and trying to regain the energy lost during the week and prepare myself for the next week. I am very organised, so most of the times i end up organising and tidying my room up and preparing ahead, unless im out all day Saturday, shopping.
Your musical influences: Beyonce has definitely influenced me in so many ways, especially in stage performance. Vocally i admire Jessie J, her riffs and adlibs are effortless and she’s an absolute pro at it. Songwriting wise, i adore Ed Sheeran and John Mayer. Their lyrics and music are outstanding, not to mention Ed Sheeran’s flow and John Mayer’s guitar solos.
What is your most memorable performance to date ? One to remember would be when i was selected as a supporting act for Taio Cruz at the O2 Arena in London. An incredible and memorable experience.
