Dame Shirley Bassey triumphant at Henley

Dame Shirley Bassey brought the house down at Henley Festival tonight with four standing ovations from the black tie clad Henley Festival crowd.

Classical music group BLAKE started the night with moving renditions of She and Bring Him Home before Bassey came on strge opening with a spine tingling rendition of Goldfinger, Bassey appeared on stage in head to toe silver sequins and belted out some of her classic hits including Diamonds are Forever and The Lady is a Tramp. Blake and Bassey closed the Saturday night of the festival with Bassey's rendition of Hey Jude before throwing roses into the audience.
