Every week, Music News and Liberty Music look at the best new releases from emerging and self-releasing artists.

Deep Sea Peach Tree – ‘Certain Thoughts’

After returning this summer to follow up their incredibly well praised debut album ‘Vaguely Navy’ with the stunning cut ‘Glockcoma’, self-describing “sleepy surf rock” outfit Deep Sea Peach Tree are now back with their latest woozy effort ‘Certain Thoughts’. Gathering comparisons to the likes of Mac DeMarco and Boy Pablo, this breezy new jam combines their love of psychedelic soundscapes with a warm and laid-back aesthetic.

ANDRO – ‘GMYH’

After making his first musical break as a live member of Mercury Prize-nominated outfit Jungle, singer and songwriter ANDRO has since focused himself on his solo material as he delivers his beautifully serene new offering ‘GYMH’. Standing for ‘Give You My Heart’, this new single sees him blend emotionally-led lyrics over a bed of smooth and sensual production, giving him a bold and vibrant neo-soul direction.

Amanda Fondell – ‘Reckless’

Since rocketing to fame as the winner of Swedish Idol in 2016, Stockholm-based singer Amanda Fondell has been keen to focus on a more individual sound in recent years, rather than one than panders to the commercial scene. This has led her onto releases like ‘Reckless’, a bold and thunderous slice of alternative pop that takes the radio-friendly aesthetic and fills it with euphoric and progressive production, giving her a style she can call her own.

Caleb Blair – ‘I Hate It When You Leave’

Following on from his breakthrough hit ‘Tropicana’, which recently smashed the 200k streams mark on Spotify, as well as his impressive single ‘Dirty Adidas’ from earlier in the year, singer and songwriter Caleb Blair now returns with his latest offering ‘I Hate It When You Leave’. Merging the lines between indie-rock and commercial pop, this new release channels the same progressive nature as The 1975 in its euphoric delivery.

Nirob Islam – ‘Busy Making Plans’

Having already made a name for himself as SHY Nodi, best known as the songwriter behind hits for The Chainsmokers and Mike Perry, Stockholm-based singer and songwriter Nirob Islam now returns under his new name for the release of his blistering new single ‘Busy Making Plans’. Following the same sweeping and sultry vibes he displayed on his debut track ‘Complex’, this new release sees him continue his bold and refreshing flair on this seductive slice of RnB.
