Composer, Songwriter, and Guitarist John Belthoff has been writing and recording music for most of his adult life. Playing and performing in the New York Tri State area his interests and abilities excel in Country Music, Jazz, Big Band Swing, and of course Rock & Roll. His earlier work as a Professional Audio Engineer has earned him production skills unparalleled to most other artists and most, if not all, of the instruments heard on his songs are played, programmed, produced and recorded by him.
Music-News is thrilled to premiere his new single, “My Pickup Song," a fun country rock & roll themed tune perfect for cruising on U.S. Route 78. "It's one of those rare songs that came out very quickly, particularly the chorus and hook," says John. "It literally fell out of me like magic!". John played most of the instruments, including all the guitars and its harmonies. John then brought in Samuel Macgregor, an accomplished Nashville singer, to belt out the great country vocal.
