The joint BPI Classical Committee/PPL Classical Quiz held annually in aid of music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins is back.

The fifth edition of this popular fundraiser will take place on Wednesday, 13th November from 6pm in O’Neill’s historic Flamingo Room, Wardour Street, London W1.

The quiz will again have challenging questions set by Gramophone Editor-in-chief – the peerless James Jolly. There will also be a cash raffle held on the night alongside an extensive array of exciting spot prizes, including beautiful recordings and box sets (not just classical!), wines, spirits and other items.

The evening is inspired by the now legendary pop quiz Nordoff Robbins have run for over 25 years. It offers a wonderful opportunity for industry friends, colleagues and the wider classical community to meet and network, all the while raising funds for and better understanding the valuable work that Nordoff Robbins do. The music therapy charity supports people of all ages and with a range of conditions. To see what they do, please watch this video with their ambassador Annie Lennox.

To date the Quiz has now raised over £16,000 for Nordoff Robbins since it was first staged in 2015, and its organisers, Ben Hogwood, Ginny Cooper, Jeremy Elliott, Pawlina Bednarczyk and Chris Green will look to top the £6,000 donated in 2018.

Last year’s winners Universal Music UK will be back to defend their title and see if they can claim a hat-trick of wins. Entry per team is again just £200, and any team/individual interested in taking part should apply directly to PPL’s Ben Hogwood (ben.hogwood@ppluk.com) as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
