Every week, Music News and Liberty Music look at the best new releases from emerging and self-releasing artists.

Val Astaire – ‘Say You Will’

Following on from the success of his previous EPs ‘Yellow’ and ‘///’, which have already amassed hundreds of thousands of streams together, New York’s Val Astaire now gears up to release his eagerly awaited debut album ‘Fever Dreams’ with his new offering ‘Say You Will’. Channelling the same romantic alt-pop aesthetic of Pale Waves, the new single sees the frontman capture the nostalgic 80s sound for this wistful and powerful new release.

edapollo – ‘Relearn Me’ ft. Akacia

Having spent the last few years releasing a flurry of off kilter and imaginative electronic singles, Australian producer edapollo now showcases the work on his long-awaited debut album ‘Endless Cascades’ with its lead track ‘Relearn Me’. Featuring the warm and wistful vocals of Akacia, this new release brings the same ethereal and experimental vibe of artists like Jamie xx to the fold, creating a beautiful and serene new groove.

Sa Zeiner – ‘Could You Be Good To Me’

With Norway proving itself to being leaps and bounds ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to forward-thinking pop music, the country now sets up the globe with the introduction of its latest star in the making, Sa Zeiner. Bringing the same bold and vibrant production that we have heard from Aurora and Sigrid, ‘Could You Be Good To Me’ sees the singer deliver a sweeping and haunting debut single, filled with melancholic synths and RnB-esque beats.

Mariano Di Gabriele – ‘Write This Song With Me’

The summer may now be drawing to a close, but that hasn’t stopped Delaware-based singer and songwriter Mariano Di Gabriele from delivering his own dose of sunshine with his gloriously uplifting ‘Write This Song With Me’. Taking influence from the likes of Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz, his latest offering oozes laid-back vibes and good feelings as he swoons and serenades us throughout this instant gem.

Big Gigantic – ‘Friends’ ft. Ashe

Following on from the success of their comeback single ‘You’re The One’ ft. Nevve earlier this year, US production duo Big Gigantic now return with their latest dose of club-thumping good-times on ‘Friends’. This time teaming up with Californian singer Ashe, the pair bring their usual diverse range of instrumentation to this smooth and crooning sun-kissed beat, following in the footsteps of artists like Mura Masa and Snakehips in the process.
