Charlie Straw – ‘Broken Paradise’

Hailing from The Wirral, singer-songwriter Charlie Straw has always been about telling stories. Whether its recording music in his basement in Thailand or touring the UK for a month straight, the frontman always has a tale to tell. And as he returns with his latest single ‘Broken Paradise’, he get to hear a more intimate sense of the singer. Merging breezy production with a euphoric song-writing presence makes this return one of his more proficient yet.

State Lights – ‘Open Your Arms’

Since forming three years ago, Dublin’s State Lights have certainly made a huge impression. With many comparing them to a modern day Coldplay, the four-piece now return with their latest single ‘Open Your Arms’. With its euphoric production, helped along by frontman Shobsy’s otherworldly vocals, this new single sees the band more comfortable within their sound than ever, channelling a ‘Joshua Tree’-era U2 in the process.
