After debuting new track ‘Ballie’ in his Coachella set featuring a live PA from Kah-Lo, Idris Elba has dropped the track on his own London based label 7Wallace.
The self-produced ‘Ballie’ is a hefty slice of jacking peak-time energy offset with the hooky wordplay and vocals from Kah-Lo. The New York based MC is the biggest female Nigerian artist on spotify having racked up over 250 million streams with her previous work, “It was such a pleasure working with Idris on this, it’s a fun track that exudes all the confidence and that’s the mood right now. It was a big thrill performing at Coachella with him, the crowd responded so well to it”.
Ballie is the first Idris production to drop following his recent feature on Wiley, Stefflon Don and Sean Paul’s ‘Boasty’ which has racked up over 29 million views on the video alone.
