Record label association, the BPI, have announced their latest Insight Session, which will be held at the BPI’s County Hall offices on 28th March, exploring the current music promotion landscape.

Music and media strategy professional, Keith Jopling, will chair the event with cultural marketing expert, Eric Karsenty, presenting key findings from ‘The New Promotion: How to Win Fans and Influence People’ report.
The session will evaluate the current landscape of 360 music promotion, focusing on curation, influence and context - who are music's storytellers and how can the industry work more effectively with them? This will feature music bloggers and music media, YouTube channels, marketing tech & tools for curators and influencers, playlist curators, and other key voices in the music promotion world. We will hear from key innovators in each of these sectors, and argue that together these channels reach music fan audiences as large as global streaming services and national radio.

This BPI Insight Session follows others, some of which were jointly hosted with ERA, that have covered subjects as wide ranging as In Car Entertainment, Blockchain, Virtual & Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Generation Z, Smart Speakers, Data & Analytics, and the role of the Album in the Streaming Era.

Tickets are free for BPI members and, for the first time, a limited number of paid tickets will be made available for non-members, with a discounted option for members of partner organisations e.g. ERA, MPA, MMF, AIM, PPL, PRS. Tickets can be booked above.
