What a year it has been for American rock band, Breaking Benjamin, since the release of their sixth studio album, Ember, on April 13th 2018. The band will mark its 20th year anniversary next year after it was founded by lead singer Benjamin Burnley and drummer Jeremy Hummel in 1999.

Speaking to Cryptic Rock back in April this year as to why they chose the name ‘Ember’ for their sixth album, Benjamin Burnley said: “We chose that title because it can be like the beginning of something or the end of something. We like to keep things vague.” He added that “As far as the lyrics are concerned, I really don’t know what the inspiration is: they just come to me. All the music that I write, I really don’t know what the inspiration is. If I knew that, I would do that all the time. If I knew where it came from, if I knew how to make it happen, I would make it happen all the time. It just happens! I wish I knew where it came from.”

Since its inception, Breaking Benjamin have sold over 7 million units and won multiple music awards. Incidentally, the band’s name came about after Benjamin Burnley broke a microphone which he borrowed, prompting the mic owner to say, "thanks to Benjamin for breaking my f***** mic."

There are eight concerts lined up for the band by the end of this year, and in its last concert, Breaking Benjamin is performing in Atlantic City, on December 30th 2018 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

They will be joined by the Las Vegas based American heavy metal band, Five Finger Death Punch (5FDP), who have been supporting them throughout the year in many other concerts.

Tickets to this concert start at $39 and there are still some VIP tickets available should you wish to mingle with the band before and after the show.

Fans coming to the show will get to see the hit single, Red Cold River, which has nearly 15 million views in YouTube since it was uploaded by the band in January 2018. Other songs that will be performed include; Angels Fall, Never Again, So Cold and many more.
