Peter Bjorn and John have released new track 'Wrapped Around The Axle' as the Swedish trio gears up for the October 19th release of their eighth LP Darker Days via INGRID.

Another song attributed to Bjorn whose approach to the album's central theme of darkness was to take on relationship issues. While the first Bjorn song 'Gut Feeling' directly dealt with the band's internal struggles after releasing 2016's aptly titled Breakin' Point, 'Wrapped Around The Axle' is about some friends navigating a split.

'Wrapped Around The Axle' is the fourth new song to be released ahead of Darker Days, following the September 21st release of 'One For The Team' (Peter), 'Gut Feeling,' and 'Every Other Night' (John). The band released the FIRST EVER 3-In-1 music video on October 1st to accompany the three singles. The clip features the official music video for each of the singles and the viewer can select which video to watch by choosing P, B or J on their keyboard. All three videos were directed by the Shout Out Louds' Ted Malmros who direct the video for Peter Bjorn and John's "Young Folks" as well as videos for his own band, First Aid Kit and Lykke Li.
