Passenger has today released the official video for ‘Ghost Town’, a track from his Top 10 new album ‘Runaway’. The video was filmed in Detroit, the inspiration for the song, by long-time collaborator Jarrad Seng.

“‘Ghost Town’ is one of my favourite songs on the record, I think it’s heavily influenced by Springsteen,” says Passenger, aka Brighton’s Mike Rosenberg. “It’s about Detroit, which has been through some really hard years. The US Motor Industry was based there, and when the bottom fell out of it thousands and thousands of jobs were lost, and as a result a lot of people left the city. We filmed the video in Detroit around these abandoned neighbourhoods and factories and warehouses and it was an amazing experience, albeit a very sad, very moving one.”
