Mikaela Davis reveals 'Delivery'

Today sees the release of the debut album from Mikaela Davis, 'Delivery' is out now on Rounder Records. Produced by John Congleton, the album is a thrilling adventure over 10 tracks: a sonic exploration that challenges what the harp can do, and one that details the sometimes arduous path to self-acceptance and feeling comfortable in your own skin.

Mikaela Davis is the kind of songwriter who routinely defies expectations. The 25-year-old harpist, pianist, singer and songwriter crafts sweet and salty songs that straddle the lines of folk and funk, AM rock and 80s pop experimentation. A native of Rochester, New York, she spent her formative years in youth orchestras rather than in garage bands and later earned a degree from the Crane School of Music.

Having toured extensively in the US and supported the likes of Bon Iver and The Staves on various UK shows, Mikaela arrives in the UK for her own headline tour this Autumn, scroll down for full listings.
